A representative from the State of Alaska DRB will be on UAF’s campus for in-person meetings and presentations the week of September 16th! If you are a member of any tier in either the Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) or the Teachers Retirement System (TRS), these are for you!

- This seminar is designed for Public Employees’ Retirement System Tier IV and Teachers’
Retirement System Tier III members who entered service after 6/30/2006. The interactive
session includes information about the defined contribution account, financial advice
services, retiree insurance plans, Health Reimbursement Arrangement, disability, eligibility,
vesting, investment options, distribution and additional resources available.

- This seminar is for Public Employees’ Retirement System (PERS) (tier I, II and III) members who are interested in retirement eligibility, the retirement process, pension options, forms, timing of benefits, and enrollment in the State of Alaska Retiree Health Insurance Plan.

in-person one-on-ones can be scheduled on the .

If you are unsure of what retirement plan you are in, please login to UAOnline > Click
on "Employee (Upgraded)" in the ribbon at the top > Click on the "Benefits" dropdown
menu toward the middle of the page > Click "Current Summary" in the "Benefits" dropdown
> Click "Select" and confirm retirement plan. Employees will either show the Optional
Retirement Plan (ORP), PERS DB, PERS DC, TRS DB, or TRS DC.
